Sunreach is one of the two big regions Palworld 1.0 added: a chain of floating islands above the clouds, with its own Pals, its own ore and the last standard tower before the World Tree. Getting in is simple once you know the one route; getting the most out of it takes a little planning.
Step 1: beat the Feybreak Tower
The entrance to Sunreach is the top of the Feybreak Tower, on the western side of Feybreak Island (around coordinates -1294, -1669).
- Boss: Bjorn and Bastigor, level 60.
- Bastigor is Ice, so bring Fire damage. Fire Pals and fire weapons make the fight much shorter.
- Recommended level: about 58 to 60, with a strong Fire attacker and good armour.
After the fight, use the portal at the top of the tower. It is added to your fast-travel list, so you only climb once.
You can't skip this. Flying mounts and the Wing Pack can't reach Sunreach on their own, and there is no second entrance.
Step 2: explore and find the defense modules
The central tower is surrounded by a whirlwind. To bring it down, find and disable six defense modules. They sit in the open on separate islands, not in dungeons, so a good flying mount (or Wing Pack flights between islands) saves a lot of time. Check the flying mount tier list before you go.
While you travel:
- Mine Soralite. It is Sunreach's signature ore and feeds late-game crafting.
- Catch the new Pals. Leafan is one of the Sunreach newcomers, and Alpha versions of Pals such as Eidrolon, Jetragon and Ophydia appear here.
- Watch the levels. Alphas are around level 65 to 70, above the gate fight.
Step 3: Auri and Shaolong

Shaolong floods parts of the arena during the fight, so bring Pals that swim or fly well and keep moving. Ice and Electric attackers such as Frostallion and Orserk are popular picks; check each Pal's page for its current stats.
Beating this tower is one of the conditions for the World Tree.
Building a base in Sunreach
Base building works on the islands. The most recommended spot is flat ground beside a Soralite cluster (around -583, -1444), so your miners feed you the region's key ore without travel. Remember that everything has to be flown or portalled in, so set up a Palbox early and bring a transport-heavy crew. See the best Pals for mining.
Fishing
Sunreach has fishing spots, and patch 1.0.4 (7 September 2026) adjusted their difficulty along with the World Tree's. If fishing felt brutal at launch, try again.
