In Palworld 1.0.5, the Hard Skin passive gives +10% Defense. It is a rank 1 passive. Get it by catching a Pal that rolled it, breeding it down from a parent that has it (it can't be implanted). 4 Pals always have it: Digtoise, Warsect, Warsect Terra and Astegon.
