Lucky (passive skill)

Quick answer

Lucky (a rank 4 (rainbow) passive) grants +15% Attack, +15% Defense and +20% Work Speed. Passives are inherited from parents during breeding, so once one Pal has Lucky you can spread it across your team (it can't be implanted). It never appears as a random roll, so it has to come from a parent.

Notes

+15% Attack, +15% Defense and +20% work speed, so it helps both fighters and workers. It can't be implanted and isn't in the random breeding pool, so it has to come from a Pal that already has it. Patch 1.0.4 fixed its Defense bonus, which wasn't applying before 7 September 2026.

How to get Lucky

Children inherit passives from both parents, so the reliable way to get Lucky is to breed it onto the Pal you want: pick the parents in the Palworld breeding calculator, then check the chance with the passive odds tool.

Frequently asked questions

#
What does Lucky do in Palworld?

+15% Attack, +15% Defense and +20% Work Speed. It is a rank 4 (rainbow) passive.

Does Lucky stack with other passives?

Passive effects on different stats simply apply together. Passives that raise the same stat add up, so Lucky stacks with other passives that change Attack, Defense and work speed. A Pal still holds at most four passives, and it can't have the same passive twice.

How do I get Lucky on my Pal?

It never appears as a random roll, so it has to come from a parent. You can also breed it down from any Pal that has it (it can't be implanted).
